Today I am thankful that Jeremy was able to stay home and rest. H has worked really hard this week at work pulling cable, and his shoulders have been sore from the strain. And sometimes he doesn't gt to rest much on Saturdays, so I am thankful that he was able to rest today! :)

Today I am thankful for Technology. My friend Shauna posted on her Facebook page that she was feeling homesick because she is in London with her husband for the semester while he is doing study abroad. So even though she loves being there, she misses people here. So I suggested that she get skype on her computer so she can video chat with friends and family here. That is an amazing thing that we can do now because of the miracle of technology. Gotta love the computer... (unless of course it is my work computer that randomly decides to disconnect or re-boot in the middle of a call... then I don't have to love it) :).

Today I am thankful that Jeremy came with me to my Pampered Chef Party. I am less stressed out and crazy when he is there, because he helps me talk about some of the stuff, but he also does the prepping if there is something that takes a long time to do, and he washes the dishes as I am using them so that we can finish sooner. I really notice how much he does when he is not there and I have to do it all myself. I love him so much and I am thankful that he picked me to be his wifey. :)

Today I am thankful that we were able to go to to the temple with some friends from our ward it was wonderful just being in the temple! :)

Today I am thankful for having a washing machine and dryer in our house. So that I can do lots of laundry if I need to and not leave the house.

On Sunday I was thankful for Mom and Dad Nichols and their kindness in having us over for dinner and the love they have for us. Today I was thankful for salty nose stuff that is disgusting but it makes me feel a little better when I do it and I was able to work today.

Yesterday I was thankful that Jeremy got me a really nice straightener for Christmas 2 years ago because I spent all night doing hair for Hannah and her friends and used my nice straightener and my curling irons from school. And it was much easier than with my old equipment. Today I was thankful that Jeremy ordered pizza while I was at work and he ordered one just for me with pineapple and ham... my favorite... So I could eat when I got home. I was starving when I got home. :)

Today I am thankful that Jeremy was able to fix his car so that it will run better and hopefully we won't have anymore problems.

Today I am thankful for days off when I am feeling well. I got 5 loads of laundry washed and 4 dried and 3 folded. :) I was so excited, only a few loads left and then I will be done with the down pour, then I just have to try and not let it get so backed up... at least not until we have kids and a reason for it to be so backed up. :)

Today I am thankful for my sweet Jeremy who made delicious homemade chocolate chip cookies. And they were perfect. He said that it was a miracle that when he followed the instructions they were perfect. He said that he put them in for exactly the amount of time it calls for when he normally looks at them and doesn't think they have been in for long enough. But he just took them out this time even though they didn't look done and they were light and fluffy but still crisp and buttery on the bottom (in my opinion that is what they tasted like and that is the way that I like them) instead of being either too soft or too hard. And I equated that to be kind of like Heavenly Father's Plan for us. If we just follow the directions it will turn out great even though it might not seem like things are working right. We can trust in him because he has done it before (that's where we got the scriptures from) and knows how things need to work to turn out right.

Today I am thankful for laughter. I was really sad and then Goosie and daddy made me laugh and it didn't make what happened go away but I felt better while I was laughing my guts out. :)

Yesterday I was thankful that gas stations are open late, because I forgot to get gas and was really low and was able to go out around 11:00 pm and get gas so that we wouldn't run out today. Today I am thankful for the Heavenly Father's Plan of Salvation because our families can be together forever through the gospel of Jesus Christ and the ordinances in God's Temples.

Yesterday I was thankful to my mom and all her wonderful friends, and my in-laws and our family, for all the hard work that they did on my wedding and reception. I was looking at pictures with a friend, and remembering back while I was trying to go to school and work and I picked out colors and flowers, then my sweet mother made all the plans. And after we were sealed together for time and all eternity at 10:00 am on Saturday November 1, 2008, we went to a luncheon that my wonderful in-laws set up. Then that night after we had gone and checked in to our hotel room, we just walked into the most beautifully decorated wedding reception I have ever been to. I didn't have to worry about anythig that day because my wonderful family did everything that needed doing. I love you all. And thank you mom also for making my beautiful wedding cake it was better than I could have ever imagined, and delicious too. I love you!

Today I am thankful that I have a heater in my car. I got in this morning and turned off the heater because it blows cold air if the car hasn't heated up. Then (subconsciously) turned the controls to cold. When I turned on the heater it was still blowing cold air so I decided to just wait for it to warm up. 10 minutes later I looked down and saw that it was turned to cold, switched it to hot air and it immediately blew warmth onto the 2 1/2 foot (approximately) long popsicles that were coming out of the bottom of my body. :) in my last car there was no heater just constant Popsicle-ness.

Today I am thankful for temple workers. They make it possible for me to go to the temple anytime. I love the Temple. :)

Today I am thankful for hospitals and doctors. And I know that God answers prayers.

Today I am thankful that we bought insurance for our phones two years ago when we got them. Because 2 weeks ago, I dropped my phone while I was trying to put it in my pocket and the screen was messed up, and it wasn't working very well. But my papa-in-law went in today to ask about it and they said we could just pay the $50 deductible with the insurance and they would replace the phone. Hallelujiah (sp?)

Today I am thankful that is was able to spend another year with my sweetheart! I love him so much, and I am glad that he is with me everyday. Happy Birthday Jeremy!

Jeremy and I went and visited Grandma Pauline tonight and we were playing with her little dog Fetch that she got for her Birthday. I took this video of Jeremy pestering him while he was trying to sleep it was pretty much adorable.

Yesterday I was thankful for Walmart Pizza. It s fast and easy and inexpensive. I didn't feel very good so I didn't want to cook something new. But luckily Jeremy's favorite "fast" food is Walmart take and bake pizza. And his Birthday is Sunday so we went and got pizza (and ice-cream) from Walmart and enjoyed a pizza and movie night. :)

Today I am thankful for cameras. Jeremy and I went and visited Grandma Pauline today and we played with her dog Fetch and took pictures of eachother with her and then of her flowers. Pictures capture moments that otherwise might never be retold. And thanks to my mommy-in-law for giving me lots of her pretty clothes that are too big. It was like Christmas.

New Mexican Chicken Lasagna tryouts

So, one of our favorite recipes is from The Pampered Chef (I am an Independent Consultant for The Pampered Chef so I try out lots of heir recipes for my business.) And this particular one is called Mexican Chicken Lasagna. But it is kind of like chicken enchiladas. We usually use enchilada sauce, but we tried a variation this time and used White Corn and Black Bean Salsa (from Walmart) with a little water instead just to see which we liked better. It is gong to be for lunch tomorrow. So we haven't tasted it yet, but I will update once the verdict comes in. :)

Today I am thankful for my sweetheart that he came with me to my Pampered Chef meeting. They are always fun, but even more fun when he is there. :)

Today I am thankful that we made lunches last night so that we would both have lots of yummy food to eat today. And Remy is thankful that my mom made him yummy early birthday brownies to take with him to work today. :)

Today I am grateful for Sam's Club. I got enough food for lunches for both of us for under $50. :) that is way better (nutritionally and financially) than if we both ate out every day. I'm excited to see how it works.

Today I am thankful for tithing. Because Jeremy and I pay tithing I know that the Lord will always make sure that we are taken care of. We may never be rich but we will always have the things we need.
